Our Vision

Improving access to health and healthcare services for vulnerable families and the rental flat communities we are part of.

This includes supporting members of our community in navigating the various barriers they face within the healthcare system in Singapore.

Advocating for better health and healthcare for low-income communities, and developing interventions that invite our communities to draw on our collective wisdom to reclaim agency over our community’s health.

    Our proudest achievement so far was feeding families struggling during Covid-19, which was a very difficult time for everyone and our community.

    Healthy You and Me is an association of Lengkok Bahru residents concerned with addressing health challenges in the neighbourhood by increasing their capacity to produce health at a community level.

Raising Awareness

We work to raise awareness about existing healthcare coverage and to expand health-related options for households in our neighbourhood.

HYM & Mount Alvernia

At present, we are working with Mount Alvernia Outreach Medical and Dental Clinic to bring their various services to residents in Lengkok Bahru.

These include medical and dental care, women’s healthcare and vaccination for the common flu.

Now, a certified therapist, I want to give back to the community as much as I can as a volunteer counsellor in supporting mental health and embracing one’s uniqueness. My pet peeves are trekking, the outdoors and movies!”
